Special Love Fried Rice

After coming home from work yesterday, I straight head to supermarket to look for some ingredients for my fried rice. Tired but excited. Some people says cooking is fun and stress free. I agreed with it. I prepared the ingredients, washed, marinate and sliced. In order to prepare a plate of fragrance or known as "wok hei" in Cantonese, dry and tasty fried rice, we need to cook patiently with little of oil. Less is best.

How to get "wok hei"? First heat up the wok/pan without oil till smokes appear. Then add little oil and swirl the wok evenly before adding other ingredients. Chinese version of cooking with flames. The more smokey the more better the dishes. So let's see how to make this special fried rice. I named this Special Love Fried rice is because I cooked with love for someone who is special to me; care for me always.

Stir-Fried Spicy Black Pepper Laksa Panjang Recipes

I went to bazaar Ramadhan in Kampar after work near to the Kampar Bus Station. It was rushing since I came home late due to jam. Not surprisingly because everyone is rushing to buka puasa (meal for Muslims after fasting for this 1 holy month). Merry go round the bazaar but can't find the food that appetite me. Furthermore, the price shoot up compare to previous years but the quality and quantity of the food disappointed me.

Taucu Lala Recipes

While I was window-shopping at Tesco the other day, I saw some fresh clams or better known as Lala. Then I checked the price is much cheaper compare to market and Econsave. Tesco charged RM7 per kg, meanwhile Econsave charges RM8 and market RM10 per kg. It's really ridiculous for such different in the price. So, without second thoughts, I quickly grapped some.

I washed quickly and rinsed them with flour and salt to remove the fishy and sand. I was so excited to cook them coz I really love lalas. Who doesn't like lala, raised your hands please??? ✋

My trip to Cameron Highlands...

Last Sunday me and my friend went to Cameron Highlands. We used Simpang Pulai route as our alternatives since I'm not used to the winding road (feeling dizzy... hehehe). Fortunately I prepared some slices of raw ginger. Thanks mum for the best tips.
